What you will do
- Build features end to end: Django/DRF backend, React or Next.js frontend
- Ship AI powered workflows: LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, structured outputs, and evals, for real users with real edge cases
- Use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) daily, and critically review what they produce
- Take ambiguous problems, break them down, propose tradeoffs, ship
- Communicate clearly in standups and in writing
What we are looking for
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience shipping production software
- Hands on experience with Django/DRF and React/Next.js
- Hands on AI engineering work: LLM APIs, agent frameworks, or RAG pipelines in production
- Experience with relational or document databases
- You have shipped at least one system that real users depended on, and you can talk about what broke and what you learned
- Top-notch communication, in writing and in conversation
Nice to have
- Experience with self-hosted inference or fine-tuning
- Mobile experience with React Native or Flutter
- Infrastructure experience with AWS, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines
